Located within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, IARPA is housed at the University of Maryland’s Research Park in College Park, MD. It is in close proximity to public transportation, both Metrorail and MARC trains, Metrobus, and three regional airports (BWI Marshall, Reagan National, and Washington Dulles).

As IARPA is part of the U.S. Intelligence Community, United States citizenship is required. Selected candidates for all positions will be required to undergo a thorough background investigation and polygraph exam.
